Free financial planning seminar by the Alzheimer's Association

The Alzheimer’s Association will hold a free seminar on legal and financial planning information at the Fall River library, 104 N. Main St., on Tuesday, March 9, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Families of people with Alzheimer’s disease have unique legal and financial planning issues. Whether the family is wealthy or not, special planning considerations need to be made when Alzheimer’s is involved.

This presentation by an experienced elder law attorney offers information about wills, durable power of attorney, protection of assets, health care proxy, and what Medicare and Medicaid cover.

Pre-registration is necessary at 1-800-272-3900. This program is free and open to the public.
