Working with the Community

Considering the high number of foreclosures and credit card debt cases in the US of recent, I have realized that many of us do not know how to make informed decisions with their finances. I have a decent amount of experience volunteering in Hispanic regions, and am looking to start a class on PF in a nearby neighborhood in Oakland. I think there's a lot of information that this sector does not access, and I would like to help them learn to better manage their finances. Any information people may have on credit, debt, taxes, and remittance payments for this often undocumented constituency would be greatly appreciated.

Regarding the hispanic community

You're right, the hispanic community is a segment of the US that has limited access to information and resources. Documented and undocumented hispanic people need more help.

Time ago we made and published a video that shows how much the hispanic poblation grew in the US and their financial needs.
